Several airline companies fly into Hiroshima Airport but major ones are Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways. Information regarding these companies are available at the following web site:

[By Shinkansen (bullet train/super express train)]

The nearest Shinkansen station is "Higashihiroshima", but note that NOT ALL trains stop there. There are three kinds of bullet trains in Sanyo Shinkansen Line, like "Nozomi", "Hikari" and "Kodama". The fastest train is "Nozomi" and the second one is "Hikari". At Higashihiroshima Station, "Nozomi" and "Hikari" do not stop but "Kodama" makes a brief stop. (All "Kodama" trains stop at ALL stations.)

In order to save your time, we recommend you to take "Nozomi" or "Hikari" bound for Hiroshima first and change the train to "Kodama" at major stations near Higashihiroshima Station. If you are coming from the east, Okayama or Fukuyama Station are convenient to change the train. If you are coming from the west, Hiroshima Station is the best.

Informations regarding to Sanyo Shinkansen Line and the time tables are available at the JR company group web sites:

After you get off the train, you have two ways to get to our campus, buses and taxies. Local bus is inexpensive but not so convenient because the buses are not operated so frequently. We usually use a taxi that needs about 15 minutes and 1,500 JPY.
